Welcome to Revolution Youth
What is Revolution?
Revolution is a group of young followers of God committed to spreading love as well as the gospel. Revolution is open to middle and high school youth, including 6th to 12th graders, and organizes numerous events in the church and community to encourage its members to Shout love, Live Christ!
Revolution Activities and Events
Revolution Youth organizes numerous events and activities throughout the year, including:
Weekly Youth Events:
Each week, Revolution holds weekly events at the church, including an evening What’s Up Wednesday group and a 10:00am Sunday morning group. On Wednesdays, the youth joins the rest of the church in the sanctuary for music, and then heads to the youth room for small group studies and hangout. On Sundays, Revolution meets in the youth room to worship God, study the gospel, and spend time together.
During COVID-19: Revolution Youth is currently following all CDC and church guidance on the pandemic in order to keep everyone safe. For more details, contact the Revolution youth directors here.
Youth Retreats:
Youth retreats are occasionally held by Revolution, which take the youth to different settings and places to get away from the busyness and activity of the world. Numerous kinds of youth retreats are held, including trips to fun worship events such as Zeteo or Uprise, trips to retreat centers such as Rhodes Grove, and service retreats to help those in need across Pennsylvania, all while spreading the love of God.
Praise Team and Battleball:
Praise team and battleball are two other important components of Revolution youth. Youth praise team is an opportunity for youth who love music to share that love with the rest of Revolution, and worship God through song. The praise team is always open to new members, and you can find out more by contacting the Revolution leaders.
Battleball is another fun opportunity held by Revolution, where we assemble a team to play at a battleball tournament in the spring and fall. Similar to dodgeball, this tournament is a terrific opportunity to have fun playing, or cheer on Revolution from the sidelines, all while spending time together and with other church communities.
For Juniors, Seniors, and Graduates: Rev-X
Rev-X is a subgroup of Revolution Youth open to all 11th and 12th graders as well as graduates. Rev-X members continue to meet regularly with the rest of Revolution for the above activities, but also have the opportunity to occasionally meet together in fellowship apart from the rest of the youth. Activities are determined by Rev-X members, and can include fun events like bowling, ice skating, or simply sharing a meal together, among many other options! Most importantly, Rev-X gives youth the opportunity to relax, relate, and meet together in Christ.
