David and his wife, Bethany, have three children and enjoy an active family life, including sports, music lessons, scouts, rock climbing, and exploring national and state parks. David first felt called to vocational ministry in high school, leading him to earn a Bachelor’s in Youth Ministry from Eastern University and a Master of Divinity from Evangelical Seminary. He spent 16 years at Faith United Methodist Church in Bellefonte, PA, serving in traditional pastoral roles while also leading modern worship, developing small groups and discipleship pathways, exploring Fresh Expressions of church, and building the church’s online presence. David believes the church community empowers individuals to use their gifts, fostering belonging, healing, and sharing Jesus’s love for global transformation.

Kevin has been involved in Contemporary Worship for over 20 years with the last 15 as a Worship Leader. He grew up in Irvington, NY, a small river town about 30 minutes north of NYC along the Hudson. Kevin moved to Pennsylvania in 1998 and found he was most comfortable Worshipping in a more contemporary setting. Given he has been playing guitar and singing since he was very young, he quickly fit into a church and loved being part of a team that could Worship each week using their gifts to serve Him. Kevin also plays in the local cover band Smooth Like Clyde which has won many awards over the last few years and they continue to pack dance floors in the area. Kevin joined us in January of 2023 and is loving his new church home!

Jamie has called Aldersgate her Church family since 2001 and was a teacher in the Preschool for 12 years before beginning as the director in 2024. She moved to the area from Ohio after graduating with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
Whether it is as the Preschool Director or as one of the Youth Directors, she loves helping children of all ages learn about the love of Jesus. Jamie is married with 2 kids and loves singing on the praise team, running, camping, and dogs!

Melanie has led the Kids of Aldersgate since 2017. Before joining the staff here at Aldersgate, she worked in the field of Early Childhood Education and holds degrees in Education and Business Management. She is most proud of the team of KOA leaders. They do the real work of creating a fun and safe environment where kids can learn and experience the love of Jesus and how it makes a difference in their everyday lives. She believes that it’s really the kids who teach her about how to love Jesus with your whole heart. When not hanging out with the Kids of Aldersgate, she enjoys spending time camping and kayaking with her husband Tim and running with her sister since Tim won’t run.

Wendy was called by God to work with Revolution Youth at Aldersgate Church in 2018. She and her husband, Randy, of 20+ years have worshiped and raised their boys, Ethan & Aaron, at Aldersgate since 2007. Wendy brings her passion for sharing “Jesus Loves You” and boldness in faith as her leading qualities into youth ministry. With a degree in Business Management, she previously pursued a career in real estate offices in South Carolina & Pennsylvania. Then, over a decade as a stay-at-home mom, she volunteered at her children’s schools, local ministries and at Aldersgate Church. Wendy enjoys adventuring to new places with her husband, cheering on her children, and loving on her dog, Dempsey.
Choir Director
Deb and her husband, Karl, joined Aldersgate in 2007, where they raised their 2 boys, Tyler and Austin, in the Christian faith. As a member of the choir since 2007, Deb began serving as assistant choir director in 2017, then transitioned to choir director in 2020. In addition to teaching private piano and voice lessons, Deb works full time in the insurance industry. Deb’s prior experience includes directing church choirs and performing in several local musical groups. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach and reading.

Carter has attended Aldersgate his entire life. In high school he began as an intern and that developed into a staff position. He is currently a student at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology majoring in Esports Management, Production, and Performance. He has been interested in live streaming and similar media for a long time and have been developing those skills over the past seven years. He has grown solid experience in management through multiple personal projects with a growing volunteer staff from around the world.
